The University of Florida MBA (UF MBA) 1-year program offers two streams, a Business Majors MBA for those with an undergraduate degree in business and an All Majors MBA for those from various other academic backgrounds.

Conducted at the campuses of Hough Graduate School of Business and Warrington College of Business, the program is of 10 months duration for the Business Majors and 12 months for All Majors MBA.

The Business Majors MBA suits those who had acquired an undergraduate degree in business within the past seven years. This is a10-month fast-track program offering a dual advantage, the rigour of a full-time MBA program with the convenience of condensed time frame.

Business Majors MBA

You are allowed to take courses tailored to your career goals and interests. The elective courses are to be taken up after the summer semester. One-year students have access to all the resources the UF MBA offers, including extracurricular activities and leadership positions, national career fair opportunities and Graduate Business Services.

The curriculum for the Business Majors program eliminates most core courses completed at the undergraduate level and instead allows the students to focus more quickly on the skills demanded by their chosen career.

Business Majors students join the second-year and One Year All Majors program students for elective courses during the fall and spring semesters. The UF MBA elective courses offer you the opportunity to focus on areas specific to your career path, while also earning concentrations and certificates. Typically, students take three to four total courses per module.

During the summer term, your small cohort will engage in an intensive series of courses that are critical for all MBA students. These courses will best prepare you for the elective courses in the fall and spring semesters.

All Majors MBA

The All Majors MBA is for those unable to commit two years to an MBA program. Pursuing this 1-year full time MBA allows you to target a competitive graduate business degree while minimizing tuition and opportunity costs.

Of immense help to those students with no business studies experience, the curriculum has essential business courses taught by the faculty members. The rigorous coursework is challenging but you will be able to gain proficiency in specialized concentration areas, an advantage during the fast-paced MBA career search.

You have access to all the resources the UF MBA offers, including extracurricular activities and leadership positions, national career fair opportunities and Business Career Services.

You will complete 10 of 16 core business courses during the summer sessions and then complete the remaining requirements alongside your nine electives during the fall and spring modules. Students in the One-Year program join the second-year and One-Year Business Majors program students for these electives during the fall and spring semesters.

Besides the reduced time spent earning the degree, the One-Year program offers significant savings on tuition costs. All admitted students to the program receive a 1/3 tuition waiver, which covers 16 credits of tuition and fees in the summer term.

Tuition Fees & Other Expenses

Students have to pay a Professional Development Fee of $1,000. The tuition & fees (32 credits) is $16,982 for resident and $ 40,173 for Non-resident. The total program tuition & fees come to $17,982 for resident and $41,173 for Non-residents.
