Hult’s 1 Year MBA Offers Learning In 3 Cities

0

Hult International Business School considers development of a global perspective as a critical part of the MBA experience and thus has developed its Global One-Year MBA program allowing students to study not in one, but three global cities while undertaking the same rigorous coursework as the 2-year program.

The one-year programs, despite their obvious advantages of getting the same degree in half the time alongwith considerable savings in tuition and fees, room and board, and the lost opportunity cost of not having a job for two years, are perceived by some sections as losing out on global immersion or exposure due to lack of summer internship opportunities.

Hult claims that the program is designed for not just to impart core business knowledge to the students, but also the harder-to-come-by ability to transition this knowledge to the global business world. Thus, you could start the MBA in Boston, San Francisco, London, or Dubai, then choose to explore any other two campuses as part of Hult’s unique Global Campus Rotation.

Global Business Experience

The only way to learn global business is to experience it. Our pioneering approach allows you to complete your MBA while studying in up to three of the world’s most influential cities: Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, New York, and Shanghai.

Hult Vice President, Global Career Development, Katharine Boshkoff says a full three-quarters of international MBA students who studied on the school’s US campuses in 2015 went on to find employment in the U.S. In total, Hult’s 2015 grads secured jobs at 800 companies in more than 60 countries.

Teaching Modules

Hult’s one-year MBA consists of five modules. The students could complete the first three modules at a campus of their choice and then rotate to other campuses for the final two modules.

Modules A-C (September to April) marks the start of the program on the home campus. Home campus options are at Boston, San Francisco, London or Dubai. The first rotation Module D (May to June) for six weeks offers the option of remaining at your home campus or rotate to another location for your electives. Location options are Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, New York, and Shanghai.

Second rotation Module E (July to August) six weeks period, you could either return to your home campus, remain at your first rotation location, or rotate to another. Location options are at Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, New York and Shanghai.

Joy Merigini, a business analyst product manager in Boston, who spent nine months of the program in Boston and three in New York, says that the best part of studying in different cities was that they each have different flavours. The program also attracts diversity as in Merigini’s class, there were 40 nationalities from Russia, Germany, UK, Côte d’Ivoire, Brazil, Peru, China and he was able to develop e contacts from everywhere in the world.

Hult’s pre-arrival career program helps get students job-ready early on.

For these reasons, it is strongly recommended to apply early. Completed applications are considered year-round but priority is given to candidates who apply by official deadlines. Late applications are taken up only if places are still available.
