XLerate: XLRI’s Event For One Year MBA Students is Back and it is Bigger Than Ever!

XLerate, an exclusive event for participants of One Year MBA programmes organised by XLRI PGDM (GM) students turns two this year.

Building on its success in 2014, the 3 day event is scheduled to held from 6^th-8^th February 2015 at the XLRI Campus. This year the event has expanded from being a sports meet to include cultural events and management conclaves. 

Students from One Year MBA courses at IIM A, IIM B, IIM C, SP Jain, XIM B, Great lakes and more will all be soon joining the hosts at the XLRI campus to test each others mettle.

Speaking on the occasion, Ram Sarangi, a student of XLRI’s One Year MBA (PGDM-GM) course said, “Participation at XLerate has doubled this year and this is a sign that the event  is only going to get bigger!”

As per XLRI, the event will offer learning and networking opportunities to students and help them interact, bond and build a bigger community as well as a competitive platform to challenge the minds, endurance, willpower, teamwork and doggedness of the participants.

The event that started off as a sports meet last year has expanded its scope this year – also planned this year is a leadership conclave where the best minds from the industry will come together to discuss and address pressing issues as well as a case-study competition.

But that doesn’t mean that sports has taken a backseat this year! Cricket, Volleyball, Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Basket Ball, Table Tennis, Pool, Carom and Track and Field events are all in the offing and offer a plethora of opportunities for sportspersons to showcase their talent and score a goal for their Alma mater.
