XLRI kicks off first One year MBA sports meet

XLRI (Xavier School of Management) is all set to host XLerate 2014 – sports festival for One year MBA students from premier B-schools across India on March 1 and 2 at the XLRI campus.

Students of One year MBA courses from across India have landed at XLRI where they will be competing for top honours in the nation’s first sports meet for One year MBA students. Your website Oneyearmba.co.in is proud to be the Online Partner for the event.

The sports meet will be witnessing students from premier management institutes across India, such as IIM Calcutta, IIM Ahmadabad, ISB Hyderabad, ISB Mohali, IIM Indore, Great Lakes Chennai and SP Jain, Mumbai battle against each other on the field. The two-day long sporting meet, organised by the PGDM(GM) (previously GMP) students of XLR, will include events like – Cricket, Football,  Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, Tug of War and Athletics.

As part of ‘XLerate 2014’, an online Case Competition has been organised among the various B-Schools in various fields of management like Finance, Marketing, HR and IR. The prelim rounds have been conducted, while the final round will be held on the XLRI Campus, Jamshedpur on 1st and 2nd March. The winner will be awarded with a cash prize and certificate.

The Moment, an exclusive online sports photography competition, is also being organised on the occasion that would capture the spirit of XLerate. The winners will be awarded a cash prize and a certificate.
