Six Concentrations on Offer at Bologna for 1-Year Global MBA

The one-year full-time Global MBA at Bologna Business School is all set to start its next batch in September with students having the opportunity to choose from six different concentrations.

The application deadline is March 15 for Round 1 and June 15 for Round 2. The selection will be on March 27 and 28 (round 1) and June 26 and 27 (round 2). The enrolment deadline will be May 7 (round 1) and September 14 (round 2).

The concentrations are offered in Corporate Finance, Design, Fashion and Luxury Goods, Food and Wine, Green Energy & Sustainable Businesses, Innovation Management / Mechanics & Automation.

“Our MBA provides you with a solid grounding in the major management disciplines and extends this knowledge across six different concentrations. You will be able to build your professional path and turn your passions into a successful career. Our faculty includes inspiring academics and leading practitioners both bringing real-time knowledge to the classroom,” says Global MBA Director Elisa Montaguti.

The program, taught in English, is divided into three blocks comprising general management, concentration-specific courses and an internship or project work period.

In the Corporate Finance concentration, the focus will be on general management in the first term and during the second term, students will take up specialized subjects.

Classes made up of students from a wide range of geographical origins, cultures and global perspectives help to enrich this experience with additional stimulation and opportunities for open discussion. The average age of participants, numbering 15-20 is 30 years.

The international faculty-led classes will also have a number of managerial guest speakers, alongside participation in a business laboratory and analysis of real-life cases. Students will have a 500-hour internship or entrepreneurial work project.

The Global MBA in Design, Fashion and Luxury Goods, in the first term, will focus on general management. During the second term, specialized subjects will be taken up. The international faculty-led classes are accompanied by a number of managerial guest speakers, alongside participation in a business laboratory and analysis of real-life cases.

It will be followed by 500-hours dedicated to an internship at a leading company in the field of design, fashion and luxury goods, or an entrepreneurial work project.

In the Global MBA in Food and Wine, during the first term, classes will focus on general management and in the second term, specialized subjects will be taken up.

The international faculty-led classes are accompanied by guest lectures of entrepreneurs, managers and Michelin-starred chefs, as well as participating in company visits.

This is followed by 500-hours dedicated to an internship at a leading company in the food and beverage sector or an entrepreneurial work project. The average age of participants, numbering 15-20, is 30 years.

In the Global MBA in Green Energy and Sustainable Businesses, students explore in-depth solutions to three basic requirements for a successful business: social equity, economic prosperity and environmental quality.

The faculty comprises a team of international lecturers who integrate an advanced educational approach, enriched by their diverse viewpoints on these issues.

The application deadline, selection deadline and enrolment deadline remain the same as for the Finance concentration. The average age of participants, numbering 15-20, is 31 years.

In the Global MBA in Innovation Management/Mechanics & Automation, over the course of the first term, classes will focus on general management. During the second term, specialized subjects will be taken up.

The international faculty-led classes are accompanied by a number of managerial guest speakers, alongside participation in a business laboratory and analysis of real-life cases.
