										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;"><strong>Esade’s full-time MBA participants managed to earn an average salary of $148,060 three years after graduation, according to the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2019.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">Barcelona, Spain-based Esade allows its full-time MBA participants to complete the program in 12 months, 15 months or 18 months.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">According to the Full-Time MBA Employment Report for the Class of 2019, 91% of the students secured employment three months after graduation. The salary increase, three years down the line, was 116%.</span></p>
<h1>ESADE One Year MBA Placement 2019 Details</h1>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">In terms of geographical mobility, 78% found a job outside Spain and 50% found a job outside their home country.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">In employment by region, 54% of the class found jobs in Europe followed by 17% each in Latin America and Asia. The United States of America took 10%. Africa and Oceania provided employment to 1% each.</span></p>
<h2>Sector-wise Placement</h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">A majority of 33% of the cohort chose technology with an average annual salary of Euro 67,705 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 105,541.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">Next comes Consulting Services with an average annual salary of Euro 74,979 and a maximum salary of Euro 132,198.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">Financial Services took in 12% with an average annual salary of Euro 72,934 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 122, 250.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">Healthcare gave jobs to 7% with an average annual salary of Euro 62,197 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 80,000. Manufacturing took in 7% with an average annual salary of Euro 65,502 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 98,761.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">Consumer Packaged Goods sector gave employment to 7% with an average annual salary of Euro 79,097 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 211,082.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">Retail took in 2% with an average annual salary of Euro 77,096 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 91,017. Transportation &amp; Logistics also gave jobs to 2% with the average annual salary at Euro 90,096 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 90,096.</span></p>
<h2>Placement by Top Functions</h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">Consulting took in 24% with an average annual salary of Euro 69,794 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 132,198. Marketing/Sales gave jobs to 23% with an average annual salary of Euro 69,096 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 105,541.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">General Management took in 17% with an average annual salary of Euro 75,074 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 103,897.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">Finance gave jobs to 13% with an annual average salary of Euro 79,520 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 211,082.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">Operation / Logistics took in 8% with an average annual salary of Euro 61,637 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 83,769.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">Business / Data analytics gave jobs to 5% with an average annual salary of Euro 65,715 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 115,496.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">Information Technology took in 4% with an average annual salary of Euro 58,519 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 72,000.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">Others accounted for 3% with an average annual salary of Euro 68,500 and a maximum annual salary of Euro 100,000.</span></p>
<h2>Career Changers</h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">While 97% of the graduates changed either function, sector, and location 29% had triple career change (function, sector, and location).</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">ESADE allows full-time MBA students a choice of three formats ranging from an accelerated 12 month, 15 months and 18 months. Since the final course length decision is taken only at the end of Term 3, around April-May, all the students start the program and graduate together, besides mandatorily completing the same number of credits.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">The Class of 2020 that began classes in September has 187 students, with the gender ratio of 30% female and 70% male.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">With 97% international students, 51 nationalities find representation in the class. Their average age is 29 and they have an average work experience of 6 years.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Sector-wise, 50% of students are from Industrial &amp; General Services, 20% Financial Services, 16% Consulting, 9% Technology and 5% Others.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">By functional area, 24% of them are from Marketing &amp; Sales, 20% Finance, 17% General Management, 15% Operations &amp; Logistics, 8% Information Systems, 5% Consulting and 11% Others.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">In the academic background, the break-up is 48% in Economics &amp; Management, 30% Engineering, 5% each in Law and Humanities &amp; Social Sciences. Science &amp; Healthcare, Arts and Others complete the list at 4% each.</span></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Around 90% of the full-time MBA batch of the 2016-17 batch at ESADE Business and Law School managed to secure jobs within three months of graduation received in the international job market.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Prestigious global companies recruited 81% of the graduates for positions abroad. For MSc Programs in Management, the figure was 80%, the Madrid-based school stated on its website. Almost 92% of MSc students landed jobs within three months of graduation.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Among the </span>Master in<span style="color: #000000;"> Law program graduates, 97% have accepted job offers and already started working.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">ESADE Director General Eugenia Bieto said, “These figures allow us to be optimistic about our students’ placement in the years to come. Despite today’s political instability, companies still need global talent and leaders with a strong ethical foundation who are capable of managing in extremely complex settings,” she added.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">Major companies that have hired the most in recent years are McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Amazon, </span>Google<span style="color: #000000;"> and Microsoft.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">ESADE claims that the employability and international competitiveness of its graduates could be seen from the fact that 81% of the MBA alumni are employed outside of Spain. Specifically, 51% work in other European countries (31% in Germany; 14% in the United Kingdom; 10% in Switzerland; 10% in the Netherlands; 10% in France; and 25% in other countries).</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">About 17% work in Latin America, 14% in Asia, 10% in the United States, 6% in the Middle East and 2% in Oceania and Africa. Similarly, 79% of 2016 MSc graduates have an international presence.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">The technology industry has recruited the largest number of MBA graduates at 32%. For MSc participants, consulting is the key industry at 30%. For BBA graduates, it is 35% each for Technology and Finance.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Consulting figures among the top three sectors that recruit the maximum number of graduates, along with technology, general </span>services<span style="color: #000000;"> and communication industries.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">ESADE Careers </span>organises<span style="color: #000000;"> job fairs to ensure successful placement of the graduates. As many as 80 companies had turned up at these fairs this year, more than in the previous years. The companies include General Electric, Johnson &amp; Johnson, H&amp;M, PepsiCo and the Clinton Foundation.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">“Human resource teams, directors of different business areas and alumni have had the opportunity to interact with ESADE MBA, MSc, BBA, Double Degree and CEMS programme participants,” said Maria José Verastegui, Director of Corporate Development for ESADE Careers.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">“For students, it’s a unique opportunity to learn about different industries, find out about the professional opportunities they provide and begin to define their new professional futures upon completing their studies,” she added.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #000000;">The 12-month track is offered in some individual cases where strict requirements are met. The 15-month program is for those who have professional commitments that require them to complete the program early.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #000000;">The 12-month program will have electives along with the compulsory core program but no Exchange or Internship. The 15-month program offers a choice of either exchange or internship. Students go on exchange to other business schools with which ESADE has tie ups after the summer break. The duration of the Exchange typically varies from three to four months depending on the choice of partner business school.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #000000;">Students in the full 18 month program will be able to participate in both exchange and internships.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #000000;">The ESADE MBA program typically starts in August with a Pre-program in which online preparatory packs are made available for an intensive basic communication course in Spanish or English. The introductory and foundation weeks would set the tone. Term 1 is dedicated to understanding the context, term 2 to decision making, Term 3 to execution and sustainability. In May, the Track decision is to be taken by the students to opt for the 12 month, 15 month or 18 month programs.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #000000;">The 12-month program will be completed by September, the 15 month program by December and the 18 month by March in the second year.</span></p>
