IE Business School Priority Admission Process to Close on February 1

The Priority admission process at the Madrid-based IE Business School allows candidates to submit applications online along with the required documents and get a final decision all within two weeks thus avoiding the agony of a long wait for the admission decision or worse still, being put on a waiting list.

IE says that even though it works on a rolling admission basis, the priority admission period will be active from December 15 to February 1. It is applicable to not only the full time, 1-year International MBA and Master in Management (both September intake) but also to Master in Market Research & Consumer Behaviour, Master in Visual and Digital Media, Master in Corporate Communication, Master in business Analytics and Big Data, Master in International Relations, Master in Finance, Master in Cybersecurity, Master in Talent Development & Human Resources, Master in Customer Experience and Innovation, Master in Real Estate Development, Executive LLM (Northwestern Law), LLM in International Business Law, Master in Global Taxation (LLM) and Master in Global Corporate Compliance (LLM).

Even though there are no application deadlines, consiidering the limited number of places in the program and the time needed for visas and securing financing, it is highly recommended that you apply approximately one year to six months prior to program commencement.

Fees, Scholarships & Student Loans

The IE International MBA tuition fee is Euro 69.200 subject to an annual revision. The School awards tuition funding assistance based on merit, distinctive competencies and academic excellence. You can visit the Financial Aid office for a personal consultation to address your financial needs. The candidates could also contact the office on the phone or set up an appointment.

The IE Foundation offers more than 60 types of scholarships in addition to different IE Fellowship Awards. Scholarship and fellowship criteria are based on merit and economic need. Every year about 40% of all IE Master Degree candidates receive some financial assistance.

Student Loans are available at low interest rate loans through propriety agreements with Banco Sabadell and Prodigy Finance. There are no charges to apply for a loan and full-time students can benefit from grace periods. In fact, you can start applying for loans or scholarships as soon as you submit your online application form.

The maximum amount of scholarship/fellowship will be 50% of total tuition fees. Students in need of substantial assistance could supplement with a combination of IE Financial Aid, external scholarships, and/or loans.

As with the school’s admissions process, there is no specific deadline for submitting the loan application. However, some scholarships have specific deadlines. Since limited funds are available for scholarship, you may have to apply at least six months in advance for financial assistance.(Image Source:Wikipedia.org)
