The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University was established in 1954 and it offers MBA, MBA (Executive), MBA – Health Care Administration (Executive), Diploma in Management Development and PhD in Management Studies at all three levels (UG, PG and Doctorate levels). The number of seats assigned for MBA is 200 and PhD is 30. For MBA (Executive) there are a total of 159 seats and for MBA – HCA (Executive) there are 39 seats.

FMS Delhi Admission Process 2020

FMS Admission 2020 for MBA commenced in the month of October 2019. For the executive programmes, applications were invited in October and November and admissions were based on the entrance exam score and personal interview.

  • For the admission process, FMS accepts CAT scores for shortlisting the candidates for the final selection round
  • Along with PI and extempore, GD round is also a part of the final selection process
  • The selection process for MBA (Executive) and MBA – HCA (Executive) is based on the General Ability Test (Management Aptitude & General Awareness)
  • For the PhD programme offered by FMS, candidates should have a valid score in CAT or UGC/NET and CSIR/NET

 FMS Delhi Admission 2020: MBA, E-MBA

For MBA programme: At FMS, the MBA (full-time) course is offered in the form of nine different specialisations. Admission is considered based on performance in Extempore Speech, Group Discussion, Personal Interview, Class 10th & Class 12th marks and CAT-2019 scores. The following weightage will be applied for arriving at the merit list for the final selection:

Applicants applying for admission for MBA or E-MBA programmes must fulfill the following eligibility criteria mentioned in the table below:

MBA – HCA (Executive) – Bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% aggregate in MBBS/BDS/ BAMS/BUMS/BHMS or a Master’s degree with 55% aggregate

 

– Minimum five years of experience as an executive or in an administrative position in a public or private or autonomous/ registered health care organization or in the health-related sector after acquiring the Bachelor‘s degree

  • Experience as on 1st April of the year of admission will be taken into consideration
  • Candidate should be either sponsored or must produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the student’s present employer to pursue the course

Selection criteria

Candidates are selected on the basis of the following components as highlighted below:

 FMS Delhi PhD Admission 2020

The PhD course at FMS has a total of thirty seats and the main focus is to build and enhance the learning experience. The final decision on the number of seats to fill is left to the teaching faculty.

Students will be selected from various functional areas such as Management of Information Technology, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources Management, Strategic Management, Marketing Management, Management Science and Managerial Economics, Financial Management and Production & Operations Management.

The eligibility criteria for PhD is as under:
