Hello admin. I don't know whether my question is relevant to this post now, but here it is, Ive finished my Graduation now and Running a startup as well as working as a marketing manager in a startup firm and by next year 2023 ill finish 1 year of work experience. I'm writing CAT exam this year, but if it's not favourable I've planned to Study abroad. A PGDM in canada and after that MIM in France. Is this a good option ? Ive planned to do this because MBA in top bschools req good entrance scores and considerable work experience. Since I dont have those, ive taken this decision. Can u please comment your view on this

Hi Ankish, depends on your preference. If you are sure you want do go into a certain field, an MIM is ok. If you want to dabble in somethings before you zoom in on a certain career, a proper globally certified MBA will give you time to do that. Just know that in India, with lax accreditation norms all management courses are being sold as MBA and consequently most see both pre-experience and post-experience MBAs as same courses when they are not. This however may change as there is more awareness of the difference between an MBA (one-year courses in India) and pre-experience MIM (two year PGP/PGDM)

Hi, I am 31 as of now. Have worked with Genpact for almost 5 years as of now & have gained exposure in operations, training and some part of quality. I am Six Sigma Trained and Tested from ISI Mumbai. I am currently working in education industry upskilling CA and CS Aspirants. I wish to purse MBA to take a big leap in career.I did the B.com (distance education) from Annamalai University and scored 50.1%. My academics are not that good. Can you please suggest what college should I prefer keeping in mind that I am 31 backed with almost 10 years of exp. & not good academic. Need your inputs. Thanks
