Missed MBA Admission Deadlines? Try European Schools

Missed early bird deadlines for sending MBA admission applications to international business schools? Don’t worry. The window is still open at some of the most well known institutes in Europe including Cambridge Judge, HEC Paris, Oxford Saïd and Imperial College Business School.

While Cambridge Judge’s round 3 deadline is on April 13 and the final round 4 deadline on May 31. Oxford Saïd’s 5th round deadline is on May 5 and the 6th and final round on June 9, 2017.

However, the September intake at INSEAD, IE Business School, IMD, RSM and HEC Paris are closed. But it is a good time for putting in an application for the January 2018 start date at INSEAD that runs four rounds. the deadline for round 1 is September 20, round 2 on November 29, round 3 on January 24, 2018 and the fourth and final round on March 7, 2018.

The school, in its 2016 Employment Report says 92% of the Class of 2016 accepted job offers within three months of graduation. On an average, MBA graduates doubled their pre-MBA salaries. The annual base salary was € 86,300, annual benefits on salary (not including bonus) was € 17,500, annual salary package € 100,500 and sign-on bonus € 14,200.

INSEAD is currently basking under the glow of its 1-year MBA program topping the FT Global MBA Rankings for the second year in succession in 2017.

IE follows a rolling admissions process, so there are no application deadlines for its International MBA. However, given the limited number of places in the program and the time needed for visas and securing financing, it is recommended that applications are put in approximately one year to six months prior to program commencement.

The Madrid based business school climbed to the 8th rank in 2017 from the 12th spot in the previous year. Its graduates enjoy a weighted salary of $ 168,923, an increase of 108% over that of 2016, ahead of Chicago Booth ($168,200) and Northwestern University Kellogg ($164,326).

IMD’s second deadline is on April 1, third on June 1, fourth on August 1 and the fifth and final one on September 1.

IMD MBA participants are put through real-life experiences such as the Entrepreneurship Projects, International Consulting Projects and Discovery Expeditions to enable them to hone their skills to become capable business leaders.

Rotterdam School Management at Erasmus University has first round deadline on April 24, second round on June 26, third round on August 21, fourth on October 16 and the fifth and final round on November 13.

The school claims that its MBA with 97% of the class being international, provides a diverse setting to provide students a global mindset. In career planning, RSM offers personal coaching, mentoring and networking throughout the program. Its Personal Leadership Development programme (PLD) and emphasis on sustainable business produce ethical leaders in the process.

HEC Paris has the fourth round deadline on April 1, fifth on May 1, sixth on June 1, seventh on June 1 and the eighth and final round on July 1 for the September 2017 intake. For January 2018 intake, the deadlines are August 15 for round one, September 15 for round 2, October 15 for round 3 and November 15 for the fourth and final round.
