MBS Alumnus Shobhit Mathur Appointed Director of Strategy At Girnarsoft

Girnarsoft , parent company of online automobile marketplace CarDekho.com has appointed Shobhit Mathur, an MBA from Melbourne Business School and former associate director of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) as Director-Strategy. 

Mathur’s brief is to head strategic initiatives across verticals and incubate new businesses.

Earlier, the company had appointed several well known faces in the online business sector like Deepali Gulati and Amit Agarwal from OLX, Ravi Gupta and Anirudh Singh from Snapdeal.

Amit Jain, CEO and co-founder, GirnarSoft, said Mathur’s extensive, in-depth expertise across the various business advisory verticals and business experience would be vital for the company’s long term growth strategy.

Mathur, on his part said Girnarsoft would provide him with a chance to contribute towards development of a holistic entrepreneurship-driven business ecosystem. 

A Civil Engineering graduate from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Mathur took an MBA from the University of Melbourne – Melbourne Business School.

Shobhit Mathur is an alumnus of IIT, Delhi and Melbourne Business School, Australia

Prior to his appointment at GirnarSoft, Shobhit was Associate Director – Capital Projects & Infrastructure at PWC.

He has also served as a Senior Management Consultant at Ernst and Young, and worked in various capacities as a civil engineer with Hyder Consulting, Sinclair Knight Merz, SMEC Australia Ltd and the Indian Railways.

Having previously worked in Ernst & Young also, Mathur’s area of expertise includes project and programme management, governance structures and framework, interface management, benefits management, project portfolio optimisation, data analytics for business intelligence, business analysis as well as quality assurance.
