This article further resonates his sense of realistic thinking which at times is lost in today’s thinking towards management of innovation.

I further believe that project champions are very important in the process of sorting out what innovations are useful for the organization which at times may not completely align with the organization’s priorities. In the end, its how innovations can add to the sustainable profits for long term is what innovative companies like 3M and Google have been able to answer in recent times.
