You need to have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline, a valid GMAT/GRE score and at least 24 months of full-time work experience by March 31, 2019.
ISB says it aims to develop global leaders focused on emerging economies and their unique business challenges. The program incorporates practical industry applications with a rigorous, cutting-edge, research-based curriculum.

You, as a student, will undergo team-based learning, individual case studies and even be able to decide your own academic gradient, based on work experience, academic background and appetite for a challenge.

Eligibility Criteria

You need to have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline, a valid GMAT/GRE score and at least 24 months of full-time work experience by March 31, 2019. Candidates whose language of instruction at the undergraduate study level was not English need to present TOEFL/IELTS/PTE score.

Selection Process

Your academic credentials will be evaluated to assess your ability to cope with the rigour of the program. Past academic performance and the GMAT/GRE exam scores will be taken into consideration along with the 12th standard grades, graduation grades, post graduation and certification scores. However, no “cut off” criteria are applied to either the academic credentials or the GMAT/GRE score.

The second evaluation is on leadership qualities, on the basis of the impact you have made in professional and personal life. This aspect is assessed through the initiatives that the applicant may have taken, the responsibilities handled and the career progression achieved till date. The one professional evaluation (i.e. recommendation) which forms an important part of the application also helps in gauging the leadership potential of the applicant in a professional setting.

The third assessment is of personal attributes. The admission committee looks for versatile and well-rounded individuals who can contribute to the society in positive and meaningful ways. People who can bring different perspectives to the class and appreciate different point of views also fit the bill.

Your extracurricular activities and interests beyond your work life also provide an insight on your personal qualities. The School also encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds to become part of the cohort. Diversity in all form of life, like work experience, educational background, nationality, among others is given due consideration.

Three students enrolling for the 1-year full-time Post-Graduate Program (PGP) at the Indian School of Business (Hyderabad and Mohali campuses) in 2018-19 will get an opportunity to spend a semester at EDHEC Business School in France.

The two schools had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently for the exchange of students for a semester.

The school considers academic performance of candidates from the 12th standard, graduation grades, post-graduation and certification scores- wherever applicable along with the overall GMAT/GRE score.

While the PGP students at ISB will spend a semester at EDHEC’s campuses at Lille for Business Management and at Nice for Finance, selected students from the European school for the Masters in Management (MiM) program will spend one term at Hyderabad or Mohali campuses.

Every year three full-time students from both institutes will be selected for the exchange program. While the selected students would not have to pay any additional tuition fee, they will have to bear the cost of accommodation and other expenses in the partner country.

Nilesh Gaikwad, country manager, EDHEC Business School, said, “This partnership will facilitate a much-needed exchange of knowledge between the students of India and France since the two countries are set out for a long-term association and economic co-operation in many areas.”

ISB says it aims at bringing together versatile and well-rounded individuals in the PGP program who could contribute to the society in positive and meaningful ways. Essentially, it means people who could bring different perspectives to the class and appreciate a different point of view.

As far as eligibility criteria is concerned, the candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline as a valid GMAT/GRE score. The applicant should have at least 24 months of full-time work experience. TOEFL/IELTS/PTE scores are needed for those whose language of instruction at undergraduate study level is not English.

The applicants are evaluated on the basis of sound academic credentials on their ability to cope with the rigour of the program, based on past academic performance your performance in the GMAT/GRE exam.

The school considers academic performance of candidates from the 12th standard, graduation grades, post-graduation and certification scores- wherever applicable along with the overall GMAT/GRE score.

However, no “cut off” criteria are applied to either the academic credentials or the GMAT/GRE score.

The candidate’s leadership potential is also assessed on the basis of the impact in the past professional and personal life. The initiatives that the applicant may have taken, the responsibilities handled and the career progression achieved are scrutinised.

The one professional evaluation (recommendation) which forms an important part of the application also helps in gauging the leadership potential of the applicant in a professional setting.
