IIM INDORE EPGP PLACEMENT 2018-19: Average Salary Up by 15% at Rs 20.65 LPA

Final Placement for IIM Indore’s flagship Full-Time One Year MBA / One Year MBA for Executives (Post-Graduate Program in Management – EPGP) 2018-19 batch saw a 15% improvement in average salary at Rs 20.65 lakh per annum (LPA) and a median salary of Rs 21 LPA.

The maximum was pegged at Rs 31.68 LPA and the Minimum at Rs 12.5 LPA. IIM Indore said along with the rise in average salary, a 20% improvement in Median Pay (YOY) was noted. In fact, the median increase in pay post-EPGP for the cohort was a whopping 115% and the average increase at 105%.

Of the 66 member cohort, 14 were on sabbatical / company-sponsored. The 54 participants who opted for campus placements received 51 offers on-campus and 3 roles offered outside campus / opting out of campus placements. Almost 90% of students had secured offers within the course duration.

The process of placement began on May 2019 after the return of the cohort to the campus from the international immersion at the McCombs School of Business in Austin, Texas.

The placement season 2018-19 saw a rush of recruiters from all walks of the economy. IT still dominates the recruiting space, but there was an upsurge from the other sectors such as Power, Consulting, Construction, FMCG, Pharma & BFSI.

The participants were offered roles in Strategy, Consulting, Product Management, Project Management, Business Advisory, Analytics, Data Architecture, System Information, Business Development, Banking operations, Enterprise Resource Planning and Financial Auditing.

The placement season also saw a special interest from the recruiters to hire candidates for upcoming technologies such as Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, IOT, Industry 4.0 and Data Analytics. Average salary (Mid 80 percentile offer average) – Past 5 years & current year

More than 80 companies communicated their interest and more than 60 ended up floating an opportunity or finally recruiting. The season saw 22 new recruiters.
