SNAP 2020 Examination Results

Once the SNAP 2020 result is announced, you will be able to check your result by entering their SNAP exam ID and password on the official website of SNAP 2020 and Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU)  and download the scorecard as soon as it is available.

After the announcement of SNAP 2020 result, the next stage of the admission process begins with Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) conducted for all 15 SIU institutes. The final list of selected candidates is expected by the end of February 2021.

  • Open SNAP 2020 official website
  • Click on the ‘Scorecard’ tab
  • Use your SNAP ID and password to log in
  • You will see the SNAP scorecard on the screen
  • Download the scorecard and take a printout

The SNAP 2020 result-cum-scorecard will have the following information:

  • SNAP conducting authority’s stamp

How to Calculate SNAP Score?

The SNAP score of each candidate is calculated on the basis of the official marking scheme.

  • Total marks in the exam are 150
  • Every correct answer to Normal Question is awarded one mark and every correct answer to Special Question gets 2 marks
  • 25% marks are deducted for every incorrect answer
  • The total marks a candidate gets in all the four sections of the SNAP question paper are added up to form the overall score. It is then scaled down to 50 for the final selection

What Happens After SNAP Result 2020?

Once the SNAP result 2020 is announced, successful candidates will be called for Group Exercise (GE), Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interaction (PI) rounds.

Each institute under SIU is free to fix its own cut off and selection process. The preparation of the final shortlist for admission will be based on the individual candidate’s performance in GE-PI-WAT and overall SNAP Percentile.

The category-wise cut-offs will be published by institutes under SIU on their websites.

SNAP Admission Process

You will receive calls from SIU institutes you tick marked as your choice in the application form. The SNAP admission process comprises three stages:

  • Evaluating the candidates on the basis of SNAP scores
  • The candidates’ performance in GE-PI-WAT
  • The final selection on the basis of the above-mentioned steps

Q: Is there any provision for revaluation of marks in SNAP?

A: No, there is no provision of recheck/revaluation in SNAP.

Q: Will I get my SNAP result by post?

A: SNAP result and scorecard will be available in online mode only. You will not be able to get the scorecard by post.

Q: Will I be able to use SNAP 2020 score for admission to an MBA program next year?

A: No, SNAP score is valid only for one year.

Q: Will I get admission even if fail to clear the SNAP cut off?

A: No, any candidate who does not clear the SNAP cut off will not be eligible for admission to MBA programs offered by SIU institute.

Q: What are the sectional cut offs in SNAP?

A: SNAP does not have sectional cut offs. You should, however, score above the overall cut off limit to be eligible for admission.

Q: What is a good score in SNAP?

A: A good attempt of around 80 questions with 85-90% accuracy is considered a good score in SNAP.

Q: Will the SNAP scorecard carry sectional scores?

A: Yes, your SNAP scorecard will have both overall and sectional cut-offs.

Q: Is there any time limit for downloading the scorecard from the SNAP website?

A: The result download window on the SNAP website remain open for one year for candidates to download their scorecards.

Q: I have forgotten my password. How can I download my SNAP scorecard?

A: In case a candidate forgets their password at the time of downloading the SNAP scorecard, they can retrieve it by clicking on the ‘forgot password’ tab on the result page.
