“Samvaad’ Business Symposium At MDI Gurgaon On October 1

Samvaad, the annual business symposium organized by the National Management Program (NMP) participants at the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, gets underway on October 1,2016.

The event would provide an opportunity for exchange of ideas among leading entrepreneurs, company heads, leadership gurus, academicians and industry stalwarts from various sectors.

This year’s theme is ‘Success through Synergy’ that focuses on the importance of synergy for the transformational change in today’s evolving business era.

Prominent personalities expected at the event are Indian Oil Corporation Chairman B. Ashok, Air India CMD Ashwani Lohani, DMRC MD Mangu Singh, CEOs and top corporate officers of various organizations including UP Power Corporation, J&J and Alstom.

Last year, Samvaad’15 had focused on the theme ‘Emerging Leaders of Innovative India’.

For the students, it is an opportunity to get an insight into various facets of business including strategy, leadership, innovation, and creativity.

The idea of Samvaad was conceived by the previous Executive Post Graduate Programmes (EPGPM) batch. Born out of casual hostel room conversation, it turned out to be the event of the year with Industry experts, both in the public & private sectors, with Army veterans as guest speakers.

This year’s Samvaad would also have C-suite executives from a spectrum of industries like Telecom, Aviation, Education, Media, E- commerce, Technology, PSUs address the student fraternity.

National Management Programme and Energy Management are the full-time Executive Post Graduate Programmes of MDI Gurgaon. Launched by the Central Government in 1987, NMP is one of the oldest executive programs in the country.

Over a period, the programme has evolved into the Consortium Executive Programme (Consortium Executive MBA) in partnership with AMBA & ESCP-Europe.

It is recognized by AICTE as a Post Graduate Programme in Management. The Best overall performer in the programme is awarded the prestigious Prime Minister’s Medal.
