How to Reschedule Your GRE Test

Rescheduling Fee

In case you want to reschedule your GRE Test due to some unforeseen circumstances or reason, you could do it four days before the test date without forfeiting the test fee. The fee to reschedule your test registration is US$50.

Rescheduling is allowed in the same testing year (July 1–June 30). The testing fees and registrations are not exchangeable between the GRE Subject Tests and General Test.

The test registration can be rescheduled either online through your ETS Account or by contacting GRE Services by phone, fax or mail. If you are sending the request by mail or fax, be sure to include your name, date of birth, address, registration number, test date, preferred test center and new test date along with the rescheduling fee.

Requests sent by mail must be received no later than four full days (not including the day of your test or the day of your request) prior to the scheduled test date.

Changing Your Subject Test

You can change your Subject Test by the regular registration deadline. The fee to change the Subject Test is US$50. However, Subject test changes cannot be guaranteed but will be made as space permits.

You can change your Subject Test either online through your ETS Account or by contacting GRE Services by the regular registration deadline. While calling GRE Services, you will be asked to provide your name, date of birth, address, registration number and test date.

Changing Your Test Center
