Selection Process

The candidate’s selection process for NMP program at MDI will be conducted in 2 phases. In Phase 1, applicants will be shortlisted for Personal Interview on the basis of their GMAT score. Tentatively, the interview for phase 1 will be conducted in the mid of December. All the candidates applying before the deadline of phase 1 will be called for interview in the mid of December. Candidates applying after the deadline of the 1^st phase on the basis of GMAT/ CAT score will be shortlisted for phase 2 for which personal interview will be conducted in the 3^rd week of January.  Candidates applying on the basis of CAT score will only be considered for the phase 2 of the admission process.

Interested candidates can apply online through the MDI website www.mdi.ac.in. Upon opening the website they can click on the link/ name of the program they want to apply for and follow the provided instructions on the website for filling the form.

Application window for online registration will be open from September 11, 2019 to January 8, 2020. Applicants are required to make the payment of INR 3000/- (inclusive of tax) using Credit/ Debit card/ net banking against the application fee. Upon depositing the fee an application receipt is generated, applicants must download the receipt and take the printout of the same and should bring it along with them at the time of PI.  No applicant will be allowed to appear for personal interview without submitting application receipt duly signed & verified.

NRI/ Foreign/ PIO Applications

NRI/ Foreign/ PIO Applications may apply for the program on the basis of their GMAT score. They have to apply online through the MDI website www.mdi.ac.in. Upon opening the website they can click on the link/ name of the program they want to apply for and follow the provided instructions on the website for filling the form.  Application window for NRI/ Foreign/ PIO applications registration will be open from September 11, 2019 to January 8, 2020.  Applicants have to register their intent for MDI program at the GMAT website at the time of appearing for GMAT exam. Shortlisted applicants on the basis of their GMAT score will interviewed by MDI Gurgaon. For the admission to under these categories, Government of India rules will be followed. To determine the NRI status of the applicants, Government of India’s guidelines will be applicable. Applicants are required to make the payment of INR 8496/- (inclusive of tax) using Credit/ Debit card/ net banking against the application processing fee.

Selected applicants from phase 1, will be informed of their final selection in the last week of December 2019, and applicants from phase 2, will be informed for their final selection in the last week of January 2020.
