IIM Lucknow MBA / PGP Curriculum

In the first year of academic work, there are a total of three terms, with compulsory 22 foundation packages that are essential to equip students with basic conceptual knowledge and tools and techniques in various functional areas of management.

After the first year, there is a compulsory two-month Summer Training in business organizations. Students learn about the real-life work environment during this training and work on assignments that they have learned in the first year.

Similarly, second-year academic work also has three terms, which include three courses; two are compulsory, which are related to integrative nature. Another is a package of 15 courses of advanced and applied nature for specialization. Other than this, students are also free to choose up to two courses of independent study (CIS). Another option can be choosing one Dissertation Project, which is equivalent to two elective courses in Term-V and Term-VI.
