Admission is open for the one year full-time MBA program at Cranfield School of Management in the UK for the batch starting on September 28, 2020.

The general management program is open for professionals with at least three years’ work experience. The school says the program is for those seeking a ‘real world’ business education where they could use theoretical knowledge, tools and techniques in real-life business situations.

The program also motivates the participants to become better leaders, team players and individuals, and who are committed to developing themselves and others.

Eligibility Criteria

You should have a bachelor’s degree and / or professional qualification with a minimum of three years’ post-qualification work experience. Applicants who do not have a degree would also be considered if they could demonstrate high levels of achievement, exceptional career progression or evidence of leadership potential.

The school also provides the facility to assess your profile and give feedback on your suitability for the program before you make a formal application.

The GMAT score requirement is above 600. The average score for the current batch is 680. Cranfield’s GMAT registration number is Full-time MBA – K2H-N3-65.

The minimum GRE score is in the 80th percentile for both verbal and quantitative reasoning. The Designated Institution Code is 3641.

Cranfield also offers their own admissions tests as an alternative to GMAT, for candidates who are able to come to the school for interview.

If you are an international student, you will need to provide evidence that you have achieved a satisfactory test result in an English qualification. The minimum requirements are IELTS – 7 overall; TOEFL – 100; Pearson PTE Academic – 68; Cambridge English Scale – 190; Cambridge English: Advanced – C; Cambridge English: Proficiency – C; Trinity College London Integrated Skills in English III – pass.

In addition to these minimum scores, you are also expected to achieve a balanced score across all elements of the test. The tests should be taken within two years of your registration date (with the exception of Cambridge English tests which have no expiry date).

Application Deadlines for 2020 Entry

With the first round deadline already over on October 27, 2019, the second round deadline is on January 6, 2020. The third round deadline is on March 15, 2020, the fourth on May 17, 2020, and the fifth on July 26, 2020.

Applicants for 2020 entry who submit their completed application by the first two deadlines will obtain a £10,000 early bird discount on fees. To qualify for the discount candidates will have to have paid their deposit 30 days following receipt of an offer of a place.

Applicants requiring visas or campus accommodation should submit their applications by the March deadline.

Fees & Funding

The MBA Full-time fee is £39,000 for all students whose initial date of registration falls on or between August 1, 2020 and July 31, 2021. All students pay the tuition fee set by the University for the full duration of their registration period agreed at their initial registration.

A non-refundable £3,000 deposit is payable and will be deducted from your overall tuition fee.

You can finance their MBA through a variety of different means, including a Prodigy Finance Loan, a Cranfield MBA scholarship or if you are a returning student, you qualify for the school’s Discount Scheme.

MBA Program Details

The program is structured in two main parts. The first part comprises 12 core management modules, including a consultancy skills module and a group consultancy project.

In the second part, you will take a further three core modules including an International Business Assignment. You will then choose seven elective modules, which include the option to complete an internship or company-based project.

Leadership development and career development activities run throughout the program. You will be assessed through a mixture of exams, written projects and presentations.

Class Profile

The full-time MBA 2017-18 batch comprised 58% male and 42% female students with an average age of 32 years in the range of 22-46 years. The 43-member class had students from 18 nationalities.
