Best Productivity Apps For MBA Students

With the increasing shift towards digital learning, various apps are available that work seamlessly on a number of mobile platforms. We take a look at the usefulness of some of these apps that would be immensely useful for MBA aspirants.

Evernote is another great productivity and organisational tool with its seamless streaming from any device or computer. It also keeps all notes in sync and has the ability to clip online articles for reference or reading later.

The Blackboard is an online course management system that acts as an extension to the classroom.

The easy to use system provides several features like facility to access posted course materials and announcements, discussion boards, virtual chat sessions with whiteboard functionality, email functionality, a digital drop box for students to submit assignments and online assessments.

Several institutions like the Rutgers Business School, University of Rochester’s Simon Business School and the University of Sydney Business School use the system. The students get added to the system automatically based on enrollment.

Meanwhile, e-textbook provider VitalSource Technologies and Blackboard have partnered to deliver all the benefits of the VitalSource Bookshelf within the Blackboard Learn platform.

The partnership is in view of the shift from print to digital with educators and students seek engaging, streamlined reading experiences to achieve their learning goals, says VitalSource.

Instructors can take a critical first step towards digital adoption with easy access to digital textbooks and analytical tools for usage reporting, all directly within the Blackboard Learn platform.

This would be the first time students and instructors will be able to access both their courses and e-textbooks through Blackboard Mobile Learn, which is available as a native application on iOS and Android devices.
