GMAT Official Guide 2018 has 15% New Content, 220 Questions

The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has released the GMAT Official Guide 2018 with 15% new content, including 220 never-before-seen questions across the quantitative, verbal and integrated reasoning sections of the computer-based online exam.

It provides you, as a test taker, an overview of the exam to help you get familiar with the content and format. Detailed answer explanations about how the test maker thinks about a question along with actual essay topics, sample responses, and scoring information. Additional product guide includes a print guide with more than 900 practice questions and answers explanations, including 61 quantitative and 61 verbal, never-before-seen questions. It also includes online integrated reasoning questions, a diagnostic test, study tips and test-taking strategies.

Created and administered by GMAC, the GMAT exam is part of the admissions process for more than 6,500 graduate management programmes worldwide. More than 2,100 universities and institutions in 115 countries use the GMAT as an essential part of the selection criteria for their programs.

While the GMAT Official Guide 2018 is priced at $45.95, the Verbal and Quantitative Reviews are $19.95 each, and the bundle is available for $71.95 (10% off).

GMAC claims that more than 80% of test takers who scored over 700 had used GMAT Official Prep products. While a number of guides and other resources are available both on-line and in the form of test papers and books offering tips and methods for maximising the scores, those using the official GMAT guides have the advantage of access to over 1500 questions that had come up in past tests.

It includes 220 never-before-seen questions across the three volume guides: The GMAT Official Guide 2018, The GMAT Official Guide Verbal Review 2018, and The GMAT Official Guide Quantitative Review 2018. All three are also available as the GMAT Official Guide Bundle 2018.

The new edition of Verbal Review includes 15% new questions and exclusive access to the same questions from this guide online. It contains 300 GMAT questions from past exams, covering reading comprehension, critical reasoning, and sentence correction sections, including 45 never-before-seen questions.

This volume aims at helping candidates improve their verbal skills with reading comprehension and critical reasoning. It includes sentence correction practice questions as well as answer explanations from real exams. The guide gives an overview of the exam to help you get familiar with the content and format, includes a comprehensive grammar review.

The questions are organised in order of difficulty from the easiest to the hardest. The same questions could also be accessed online at gmat.wiley.com, where you can build your own practice sets.
