Alliance School of Business: Scholarships

Scholarship 1

For MBA and PGDM course:

1) Merit-based scholarship:

a) To be eligible for a scholarship at Alliance Business School, the candidate will need to score a 99 percentile or more in the CAT exam OR a get a score of 725 and above in the GMAT exam. With this score, a student will be eligible for a scholarship for an amount of Rs 3,37,500 per semester for MBA course and an amount of Rs 2,00,000 per semester for the PGDM course. The student should not have repeated any class.

b) A student who has had a consistent track record of a  minimum 90% marks in 10th,12th grade and graduation along with a score of 85 percentile or above in his/her CAT exam or in the GMAT exam getting a score of 600 and above will make the student eligible for a scholarship amount of Rs 84,375 per semester for MBA and Rs 50,000 per semester for PGDM. The student should not have repeated any class.

c) A student with a consistent rack record of scoring a minimum 70% marks in 10th,12th can also be eligible for a scholarship at Alliance Business School provided he/she has three years of full-time relevant work experience AND. The candidate must have also gotten a score of 90 percentile or above in CAT or a score of 650 and above in GMAT. With this score and work experience, a candidate will be eligible for a scholarship amount of Rs 67,500 per semester for the MBA course and Rs 40,000 per semester for the PGDM course.The student should not have repeated any class.

d) A candidate who has scored a minimum 90 percentile or above in his/her CAT exam or has scored a minimum 650 in his/her GMAT exam will qualify the candidate for a scholarship amount of Rs 50,625 per semester for the MBA course and Rs 30,000 per semester for the PGDM course.The student should not have repeated any class.

Scholarship 2

For MBA and PGDM course:

2) Sports quota scholarship:

A candidate who has played any sport or game at the National level player (Sports/Games) along with a consistent record of scoring a minimum 60% marks in his  10th,12th and graduation, will qualify the candidate for a scholarship amount of Rs 67,500 per semester for the MBA course and an amount Rs 40,000 scholarship per semester for the PGDM
course. The student should not have repeated any class.

3) Differently Abled scholarship: Candidates applying for scholarship under this category will need to produce documents certifying that they are differently disables. Candidates will also have to show that they maintained a consistent track record of scoring a minimum 60% marks in10th,12th and graduation. The student should not have repeated any class.With these marks and the certificate as mentioned above a candidate will be eligible for a scholarship amount of Rs 1,01,250 per semester for the MBA course and an amount of Rs 60,000 per semester for the PGDM course.

4) SC/ST Category: Candidates applying for scholarship under this category will need to produce documents to show they belong to SC/ST Community and show that their family income is less than rupees four lakhs per annum. These candidates will also have to show that they have maintained a consistent record of scoring minimum 50% marks in 10th,12th and graduation along with a score of 550 and above in GMAT or a score of 70 percentile or above in his/her CATexam.The student should not have repeated any class.With these marks and the certificate as mentioned above a candidate will be eligible for a scholarship amountof Rs 84,375 per semester for the MBA course and an amount of Rs 50,000 per semester for the  PGDM course.

5) Domicile based: A candidate domicile of the State of Karnataka who has maintained a consistent score of minimum 60% marks in 10th, 12th and graduation along with a score of 550 and above in GMAT or a score of 70 percentile or above in his/her CAT exam will qualify a student for a scholarship amount of Rs 16,875 per semester for the MBA course and an amount ofRs 10,000 per semester for the PGDM course.The student should not have repeated any class.
