Semester wise Details of FMS’s MBA (Full Time) Course

PART I: FIRST YEAR

Part 1 of the first year of this program includes two semesters in total: semester one and semester 2. Here is the schedule of all papers for this first year of the program.

Summer Training

Once students complete their two semesters of the first year of this program, every student must go through a summer internship program, helping them understand the actual work environment by working with an organization as training. After this internship, every student must submit a detailed report (before the commencement of the third semester and second year) about this summer training.

PART II: SECOND YEAR

Part II begins in the second year of this program, and it is only open for candidates who have cleared or passed at least 12 papers out of 16 in the first year of the program, which includes both semesters (1st and 2nd one). There is no concession for the remaining papers, and that’s why a student must clear them while studying for Part II in the second year of the program.

The schedule of the Second Year (Part II) Examination shall comprise two semesters:

Semester 3 and Semester 4: The paper schedule for the second year and both semesters will be as follow:

Semester – 3 

In this particular semester, a student has to choose five elective courses from the list of optional papers, which helps them for further specialization. These compulsory papers are listed here; elective papers are listed area-wise.

Selection of Elective Courses

During the semester 3 and 4, students can choose five elective courses, but in semester 3, students have to choose along with three compulsory papers, but in semester 4, they also can choose optional papers along with the three compulsory ones.
