IIM Bangalore Admission Process

Candidates need to sit for the CAT exam, which is a national-level entrance exam for admission into the institute. Candidates need to score a minimum aggregate of 80% in all the sections of the CAT exam. The three sections in the CAT exam are Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension and Data Interpretation. Candidates who get a valid score in their CAT exam become eligible for the next round of selection which includes group discussion and personal interviews.

IIM Bangalore Placement and Salary Trends

IIM Bangalore is visited by top corporate organizations at the time of the placement drive. In 2019, the campus placement drive was a huge success with a 100% placement record wherein a total of 411 students received 488 job offers from the most premier and reputed companies. An amount of Rs. 24.54 LPA was the average CTC offered to the students. Some of the top companies that recruited students from the institute in the 2019 placement drive include ITC Infotech, Cognizant, IBM, Coca Cola, Microsoft, Google, Genpact MAQ Software, Accenture, Deloitte, and AT Kearney.
