SPJIMR PGDM Placements

Final Placements 2019 at SPJIMR, Mumbai saw the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) students receiving an average salary of Rs 22.90 lakh per annum (LPA) and a median salary of Rs 22.00 LPA.

Of the 239-member batch, 72% received offers of around Rs 20 LPA or more. The recruiters numbering 111 included 28 newcomers. The students received 12 international offers and 78 pre-placement offers (PPOs). The placement drive also recorded an increase in the number of offers as well as in salary offers.

Meanwhile, the one-year full-time Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) that follows a rolling placements system has also seen a growth in the number of recruiters along with an increase in diversity of sectors and industries.

Among the major recruiters at the placements were Accenture, Amazon, Amazon Web Services, Ashok Leyland, ABN Amro Bank, Banker Bay, BDO Consulting, Deloitte,  Cognizant, Coffee Day Beverages, CRISIL, 3M, 3I Infotech, Future Group, Infrastructure Debt Fund, Myntra, Schlumberger, Netmagic Solutions, JP Morgan and OYO.

SPJIMR Internship Highlights

Of the total 239 students, one had opted out of the placements. As many as 23 new recruiters participated in the placement, including 23 newcomers. The students got an average stipend on Rs 2,25,336, median stipend of Rs 2,40,000 and maximum stipend of Rs 3,20,000.

In Consulting, Alvarez & Marsal offered roles in Strategy and Management Operations and Supply Chain Consulting.

E-Commerce came up with offers in Product Management Category Management, Program Management, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing and Financial Analyst.

Top recruiters in E-Commerce were Amazon, Uber, Ola Cabs, Swiggy, Udaan and Cloudtail.

Top recruiters in Sales and Marketing/Operations and Supply Chain were ITC, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Reckitt Benckiser,Mondelez, Colgate-Palmolive, Marico, Pidilite, Nestle, Dabur and Asian Paints.

In Finance, the roles offered were in Investment Banking, Equity Research, Digital Banking, Private Equity, Wealth Management and Corporate Finance. The recruiters were Spark Capital, SBI Cap, Sabre Partners and O3 Capital.

Major recruiters in General Management were Tata Administrative Services and Mahindra GMC.

In IT & Analytics, the roles offered were in Product Management, Program Management and     Tech Sales. The recruiters included Microsoft, Intuit, Media.net, Samsung R&D Institute India-Bangalore, Airtel and GE (Healthcare).
